About this Course

SnowDay on the Waterfront and its annual Snow Carving Competition is happening in February 2024! This workshop is a great opportunity to learn how to design and carve a snow sculpture while also making your own set of carving tools. Open to beginners, dabblers, hobbyists, and the simply curious - 13 years and older. This workshop a collaboration between the City of Thunder Bay and Willow Springs Creative Centre. Workshop facilitated by Judi Vinni of Willow Springs Creative Centre at the Baggage Building Arts Centre, Prince Arthurs Landing in Marina Park. No previous experience required! Space is limited. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather, portions of the workshop take place both indoors and outdoors.
